Oddly, There’s not much to say for these cookies. I like them, and have turned off some friend when they were watching the process. When I say these are butter cookies… I really do mean that they are BUTTER cookies.

IF the dough does not come together, you may want to try either adding very little water, or replacing one of the egg yolks with a full egg instead.

Sugee* Butter Cookies

175g butter(softened)
100g sugar
2 egg yolks
250g flour

Baking sheet/pan/dish
mixing bowl (if you do not have proper mixing bowls, use a pot so that nothing flies through your kitchen)

1) Beat the butter and sugar until creamy.step1
2) Beat in the egg yolks and add flour.
3) Flour the counter and knead until dough comes together. Wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate for half an hour (30 minutes)step2

4) Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Remove dough from refrigerator.
5) Roll out dough to desired thickness. Cut out the cookies and lay them out on baking sheets. Make sure they are not touching as they will expand. step4

6) Bake for 15 minutes.
7) Decorate to your heart’s content.
