Hello everyone!

Yes, Curiosity is late yet again, but it is not yet midnight where I live so I’m still making it for Wednesday!

I made Oatmeal cookies recently and (surprisingly) they came out pretty good. Granted, it took me a while before the recipe came out correctly, and there is ALWAYS playing around with it till I’m happy, so all in all I think I did a pretty good job.

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Chewy Sugar Cookies

YAY to another successful C—–s recipe!!! They turned out good and I am beyond surprised.

And my editor didn’t try to kill me this week!! Yay to that too!!

Chewy Sugar Cookies
114 cup flour
pinch of salt
34 tsp baking powder
12 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
12 tsp vanilla extract

1) Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.
2) Cream butter and sugar together till fluffy.
3) Add egg and vanilla, mix thoroughly.
4) Slowly add in the flour mixture. Mix until everything is incorporated.
5) Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
6) Spoon and drop cookies onto a baking sheet/dish
7) Bake for 12-15 minutes.

WELCOME TO WEEK TWO OF CURIOSITY TO THE OVEN X J:ETUDE COLLABORATION!!

Oddly, There’s not much to say for these cookies. I like them, and have turned off some friend when they were watching the process. When I say these are butter cookies… I really do mean that they are BUTTER cookies.

IF the dough does not come together, you may want to try either adding very little water, or replacing one of the egg yolks with a full egg instead.
